Apply an early payment discount
You can offer customers an early payment discount if they pay before the invoice due date. This is achieved as follows:

Create a credit note for the discount .

Go to Sales Invoices and select the required invoice.

From the Payments section, select Apply Credit.

Select the newly created credit note, then select Apply. The applicable invoice amount will now be marked as paid.
