How to setup a new user to have access to Time & Fees

In order for a new user to be setup with access to Time and Fees they will require license/options to be set.

 

Create New staff profile

  1. Open System Maintenance.

  2. Click Staff.

  3. Select Staff Maintenance.

  4. Click New.

  5. Enter the appropriate details for the new staff member. Ensure ‘Is allowed to sign on to the system’ is selected.

  6. Once completed click OK.

View new staff member profile

  1. After creating the new staff profile, licenses/options will need to be setup for the staff member.

  2. Open System Maintenance.

  3. Click Staff.

  4. Select Staff Maintenance.

  5. Highlight new staff profile and click View.

  6. Click the Rates tab.

  7. Select the Registered with Time & Fees option.

  8. Enter a start date (either by typing in this field or clicking the magnifying glass and selecting the appropriate date).

  9. Click the magnifying glass next to Charge rate and select the appropriate charge rate for the staff member.

If there is not a charge rate setup for the staff member:

  1. On the charge rate window click New.

  2. Enter a Rate Identifier, for example, Staff members initial.

  3. Enter a Rate Description.

  4. Enter the Date effective.

  5. Enter the rate you want to use.

  6. Once the new charge rate is setup you can assign the new rate to the staff member.

  7. The staff members start date will affect the first timesheet. The start date will be the start date of the staff members first timesheet.
