Data Mining not displaying Accounts Production figures

Introduction

When using Data Mining to search for Accounts Production figures nothing is being shown, even though figures and details have been entered within Accounts Production.

To search for Accounts Production figures in Data Mining:

  1. Log into Practice Management from the IRIS main menu.

  2. Select Launch | Data Mining

  3. Select Field | Business | Accounts | (chosen period) | ...

The Accounts for the period end must be finalised in order for the information to be shown in Practice Management's Data Mining. Until the Accounts have been finalised then Data Mining cannot show any figures.

 

To finalise a set of accounts:

  1. Log into IRIS Accounts Production from the IRIS Main Menu.

  2. Select a client.

  3. Select Posting | Reports finalised

  4. Select the appropriate entry.

  5. Select Reports finalised.

If your set of Account have been finalised however the figures still aren't appearing in Data Mining then you will need to refresh the clients Account Production figures.

 

To do this for a single user:

  1. Log into IRIS Practice Management from the IRIS Main Menu.

  2. Click on Launch | Client Lookup

  3. View the client whose figures are missing.

  4. In the Basic tab click on A/P Figures.

  5. Click Refresh.

To refresh the figures in bulk:

  1. Log into IRIS Practice Management from the IRIS Main Menu.

  2. Click on Launch | Data Mining

  3. In Data Mining click File.

  4. Select Calculate Accounts/Tax Totals on the fly.

  5. Click Find.

Once the Accounts figures have been refreshed they should appear in Data Mining.
