How to enter additional information for Capital Gains

Introduction

This topic explains how to enter additional information for capital gains.

  1. Log on to IRIS Personal Tax and select the client.

  2. From the Edit menu select Capital Assets.

  3. Select Edit from the Capital Assets menu bar, then select Loses and Other Information.

  4. Select the Additional Information box.

  5. Enter the required notes within the white space provided then click OK.


Information entered here will appear in box 36 on page CG2 of the 2012 Tax Return.
