How to install IRIS Docs onto a new workstation

“I have a new workstation, how do I install IRIS Docs on it?”

Below are the minimum system requirements for the IRIS Docs workstation client:

Installing IRIS Docs on a client machine

On the IRIS Docs server, locate the file INVU.Setup.Client.msi. You will find this in ‘C:\Program Files\INVU Services LTD\INVU Business Engine’.

 

Follow the steps below:

  1. Copy INVU.Setup.Client.msi to the new workstation.

  2. Double-click on the file.

  3. Go through the required prompts.

  4. Click Finish.

The IRIS Docs icon displays on the desktop as below:

  1. Double-click on the icon to load IRIS Docs; asking for the Business Engine name. The name that you need to enter is the server name of where IRIS Docs has been installed to, for example, Server01.

  2. Click OK, IRIS Docs will load.
