Documents have been scanned in however they are not showing in IRIS Docs

Introduction

When scans are sent from a network scanner/local scanner, users who use a terminal server environment can send items from the scanner/local machine into IRIS Docs.  

This includes the following processes:

 

 

If users use a network scanner/Local scanner which is outside of hosted environments and they report scans are not going into IRIS Docs the following checks will need to be ran through to determine if it is a local issue with the scanner or an issue caused by IRIS Docs.

 

Check if Document reaches network folder which Docs is pointed to:

To check where IRIS Docs is pointed to you can open Docs | Administration | DPE | Show Netscan Paths | double-click on appropriate path.

 

If the Document doesn't reache here refer to the stages below:

If the document is not showing in the network location this indicates an issue with the scanner and will need to be referred to the local IT support.

 

If Document has reached the network folder restart INVU V6 Processing Engine Service:

If the scanned document has reached the network folder the INVU V6 processing engine will need to be restarted (Docs Server | Start | Run | Services.msc | Restart INVU V6 Processing Engine service
