If the proposed company name contains sensitive/restricted words then NM06 needs to be produced to confirm that permission has been granted to use them.
The company number and existing full name is entered first, followed
by the proposed name. The box should be ticked if the company has requested
authorisation from a government department or other body to use sensitive/restricted
words in the proposed company name.
Go to Client | View, click on
Edit Names. If the proposed name
contains sensitive/restricted words then select the Contains
sensitive or restricted words or expressions tick box, click OK and Save.
Go to Reports | Company Forms, highlight form NM06 and click Print Form and OK.
To display a form with basic details, go to Reports | Forms with basic detail | NM06-Request to seek comments of government department or other specified body on change of name. The form opens in Microsoft Word showing the basic details.
To display a blank form, go to Reports | Blank Forms | NM06-Request to seek comments of government department or other specified body on change of name. This opens a completely blank form in Microsoft Word.
