Companies registered in Scotland sometimes create a charge that must be registered. When property has also been acquired they must deliver details of it, together with any document creating or giving evidence of it, to the Registrar of Companies in Edinburgh.
The company number and full name are required first, followed by the date and description of the instrument and the date the property was acquired and the amount secured.
Also required are the person(s) entitled to the charge and the short
particulars of the property.
Go to Edit/Mortgages and Charges, click New.
Required fields are:
Creation date (registered date should be completed when Companies House have advised the this).
Instrument type, the description will follow from the selection but can be overwritten.
Date the property was acquired.
Location of the property.
Amount or description of the charge should be entered.
Using the Persons Entitled tab, click New to enter mortgagee or persons entitled.
Using the Particulars tab, enter short particulars of all property mortgaged or charged.
Enter name of person signing the
form from the drop-down list when prompted.
Click Yes when asked to Log the particulars of this event.
Go to Reports | Company Forms, highlight MG06s and click Print Form and OK.
To display a form with basic details go to Reports | Forms with Basic Details | Form MG06s- Particulars of a charge subject to which property has been acquired by a company registered in Scotland. The form opens in Microsoft Word showing the basic details.
To display a blank form go to Reports | Blank Forms | Form MG06s - Particulars of a charge subject to which property has been acquired by a company registered in Scotland. This opens the completely blank form in Microsoft Word.
